An outstanding share! I have just forwarded this onto a friend who had been doing a little research on this. And he in fact ordered me lunch due to the fact that I found it for him… lol. So let me reword this…. Thank YOU for the meal!! But yeah, thanx for spending time to discuss this matter here on your web site.

  6. The very next time I read your blog, Hopefully it doesn’t fail me as much as this particular one. After all, I know it was my choice to read through, however I truly thought you would probably have something interesting to say. All I hear is usually a bunch of complaining about something you can fix if you were not too busy seeking attention.

  7. Hands down, Apple’s app store wins using a mile. It’s a plethora of all sorts of apps vs a very sad number of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, particularly the arena of games, but I’m not sure I’d need to bet about the future if it aspect is essential to you. The iPod is often a much better choice therefore.

  9. I was excited to discover this web site. I want to to thank you for ones time for this fantastic read!! I definitely savored every bit of it and I have you bookmarked to look at new stuff on your site.

  10. The Zune focuses on being a Portable Media Player. Not a browser. Not a game machine. Maybe down the road it’ll do better yet in those areas, until then it’s a good way to organize and pay attention to your music and videos, and it is without peer and need rest. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it can be your best option.

  12. If you’re still for the fence: grab your selected earphones, head right down to a Best Buy and have to plug them to a Zune then an iPod to see which one sounds better for your requirements, and which interface allows you to smile more. Then you’ll know which can be right for you.

Between me and my better half we’ve owned more MP3 players through the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, recent years I’ve been feeling relaxed to one distinct players. Why? Because I was pleased to discover how well-designed and fun to utilize the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

I’ll gear this review to 2 forms of people: current Zune owners whorrrre considering an upgrade, and folks trying to decide from your Zune as well as an iPod. (There are other players looking at out there, much like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope thus giving you enough info to generate an informed decision on the Zune vs players besides the iPod line too.)

  17. The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, however, not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but is not as fast as Safari, and possesses a clunkier interface. If you occasionally thinking about using the internet browser that’s not a worry, however, if you’re planning to look at web alot from a PMP next the iPod’s larger screen and much better browser might be important.

This is becoming a bit more subjective, but I much choose the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, plus some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that allow you to quickly see related albums, songs, and other users associated with what you’re paying attention to. Clicking on some of those will focus on that item, and another pair of “neighbors” can come into view, letting you navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” can also be great fun, permitting you to find others with shared tastes as well as becoming friends together. You then can focus on a playlist created according to an amalgamation products all your friends are enjoying, which can be enjoyable. Those related to privacy will probably be relieved to recognise you can avoid the public from seeing your individual listening habits should you so choose.

  32. Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

  39. Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
